Report: 1st Africa Maternal Nutrition and Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation (MMS) Technical Meeting

This meeting report summarizes the main discussion points, key takeaways, and recommended priority actions of the 1st Africa Regional Maternal Nutrition and Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation (MMS) meeting held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This meeting was a collective effort of the members and partners of the Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies (HMHB) Consortium, hosted by the Micronutrient Forum, alongside the Ethiopia Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH), to advance maternal nutrition and the provision of MMS to pregnant women in the African continent.  Over 120 representatives from governments, international NGOs, and implementing agencies concerned with maternal nutrition and MMS program and policy issues from across 12 countries, namely Burkina Faso, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Jordan, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, and Uganda participated in this meeting.
