Dr. Aashima Garg, PhD, is a global public health nutrition leader with over 20 years of experience in maternal, child, adolescent, and women’s nutrition across humanitarian and development settings. She currently serves as Senior Adviser for Nutrition at UNICEF Headquarters, leading the organization’s global portfolio on the nutrition of school-age children, adolescents, and women. Dr Garg has held senior technical and leadership roles across UNICEF headquarters, regional, and country offices in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, with expertise spanning nutrition policy, emergency response, systems strengthening, partnerships, advocacy, and evidence generation.

Zeina Sifri is a Senior Program Officer on the Maternal, Newborn and Child Nutrition & Health (MNCNH) team at the Gates Foundation. She focuses on nutrition and country scale up of Multiple Micronutrient Supplements, as well as social protection programs for maternal and newborn health and nutrition. Zeina joined the foundation in 2020, and prior to that she worked at Helen Keller International most recently as an Associate Director on maternal and child nutrition programs, as well as neglected tropical diseases. She has programmatic experience across Africa and Asia working with Governments and partners on translating evidence into action and holds a master’s degree in international nutrition.
