Transitioning from Iron and Folic Acid to Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation (multivitamins) for Pregnant Women in Sierra Leone – Healthcare Workers Training Manual on MMS in Sierra Leone

This training manual was developed for health workers (HWs) in Sierra Leone to be able to know the importance of Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation (multivitamins) compared to that of Iron Folic Acid (IFA). The training aims to provide technical experience and provide an understanding of the scientific rationale for selecting multivitamins over IFA and identifying the different benefits provided by antenatal multivitamins compared to IFA.
